GRIFFIN (Sparta) - John L. Griffin, age 71, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Metron of Cedar Springs with his family at his side. He is survived by his wife, Geri; children, Vicki and Scott Eighmey, John and Lacey Griffin, Beth Bowen, Sally Gallagher, Julie Bishop, Connie Bishop, Davie and Amanda Bishop; 12 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 6, 12:00 Noon at Kent City Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Weeks officiating. Friends may meet the family at the funeral home on Friday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday at the church one hour prior to the service.
