Obituary
With a grateful heart, Bill joined his Lord and Savior on June 24, 2025. Preceded in death by his father, Clark Milton Wilson, his mother, Marian Elizabeth (Jones) Wilson. Bill is survived by his wife of 26 years, Judith Karen (Reits) Wilson and sons William R. Wilson and Stephen C. Wilson and his step-children, Craig (Amy) Broekhuizen and Christy (Harry) Wayman and their children, Camryn and Avery Broekhuizen and Corrinne and Hunter Wayman.
Bill was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on January 9, 1935. He attended Springfield Technical High School, entered the Air Force during the Korean War, served as an Early Warning Radar Operator in French Morocco, North Africa and Minnesota and as a Radar Instructor in Biloxi, Mississippi. He attended WMU graduating with a degree in Industrial Engineering and worked for GM for 7 years before leaving to start a plumbing repair company in Portage, MI where he continued until retirement.
Bill was a proud American. He was a member of the American Legion Post #127, Dorr, Michigan and the National Rifle Association. He was a member of First Christian Reformed Church of Byron Center, to which any remembrances should be directed.
