William Enos

William Lawrence Enos, 68, of Paw Paw, MI, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at his home. He was born on February 8, 1952 in Kalamazoo, MI, the son of Perry and Betty (Hastings) Enos. Bill was an avid outdoors-man and Boy Scout growing up, he graduated from Otsego High School. It was only natural that he loved hunting, fishing, moral mushroom hunting, and anything else that got him outdoors with his best friend Kevin. He enjoyed golf and the bowling league with his loving Wife and friends. More than anything though, his family was his world. He loved gathering everyone together and everyone was family for Bill. He loved people unconditionally. Bill was a proud member of the United Steel Workers of America. He and his wife, Julie were a Checkers Motors family. Bill worked there from the age of 21 until his retirement and closing of the plant in July of 2009. His work was a huge part of his family life and so many memories were made with friends from Checkers Motors. Bill is survived by his Wife of 38 years, Julie (Pease) Enos; Mother, Betty Enos; Daughters, Susan (Jason) Tenbrink and Tamara (Jim) Small; Son, Kevin (Laurie) Enos; Grandchildren, Shane, James, Christopher, Devin, Nicholas, Drew, Xena, Teagen, and Acen; Brothers, Leroy (Aleta) Enos and Robert (Darlene) Enos; his best friend, Kevin Hiemstra, and a host of Checkers Motors friends that were more like family. Bill was preceded in death by his father, Perry Franklin Enos. A memorial gathering will take place at a later date when we are able to get together again.
