William "Bill" Elliott

Elliott, William "Bill" 12/4/1933 - 1/24/2023 William Albert "Bill" Elliott After a short illness, Bill was "tired of the b**ls**t" and passed peacefully surrounded by family. Bill married Dianne Hartmann on September 27, 1958 and were married 53 years until the time of her passing. Bill and Dianne had 5 children they raised in both Illinois and Arizona before settling in Michigan upon retirement. After serving with the 101st Airborne during the Korean conflict he returned home and became a career carpenter then switched gears and became an Interstate Battery distributor. Bill had an eclectic list of things he loved including airplanes, county music, dancing, playing his guitar, paper towels, his blue sweatshirts and popcorn but none of these surpassed his love for his friends and a large family he was very proud of. Bill is survived by his brothers Jim and Leo (Nancy) and sister Wannetta along with his children Kevin (Candi), Tod, Patti, Tom (Kim) and Erin (Jeff), 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, February 3rd at Crossroads Community Church, 717 Old 27 North Marshall Michigan.
