Delach , William "Bill" Mattawan William Peter Delach, age 90, lifelong resident of Mattawan, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016. He was born June 8, 1926 in Mattawan, to the late Nicholas and Catherine Delach. William is survived by his three daughters, Luanne (Gary) Dillon, Judy (Paul) Becker and Pam Leslie, three grandchildren, Matthew Leslie, Lorren (Carl) VanBrugge and Andrea Leslie, one great granddaughter, Charley Mae VanBrugge and his sister, Anne Kimble. William was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine, three sisters, Madelyn Kendell, Mary Gregoriek and Rose Hirsch and two brothers, Anthony and Nicholas Delach. William retired from the UpJohn Company after many years of service, he also worked for 25 years driving bus for Mattawan Consolidated Schools until his retirement in 1974. In addition, William kept busy working on the farm, his vineyard and gardening. He was a longtime member of the Paw Paw Knights of Columbus. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 2-7 p.m. with Rosary service at 6:30 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 W, Michigan Ave, Paw Paw. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, 23830 Front Ave, Mattawan, with Fr. Alan Jorgensen officiating.
