Weston R. Hovorka Sr., age 35, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Weston was born in Racine, September 3, 1979, son of Robert and Norma (Nee: Smith) Hovorka.

A gifted athlete he played football for William Horlick High School. On September 22, 2001 he was united in marriage to Angie J. Smith. From this union came Weston’s greatest accomplishment, his children, Weston Jr., Blake, and Chloe, whom he adored. Weston loved spending time with his family, camping, cookouts, Sunday dinners, riding bikes and going to the movies with his kids. He was always trying to impart his wisdom with his boys and most recently shared a special night with Chloe at a father daughter dance. Last employed at Pete’s Crete, Weston always displayed a hard work ethic, great ability, and took great pride in any job he did. Above all, he will be best remembered for his kind heart, his magnetic personality, and his love and devotion to his family.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Angie; his three children, Weston Jr., Blake, and Chloe; his parents, Robert and Norma Hovorka; his brother and sister-in-law, Joshua (Angela) Hovorka; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; nephews and nieces, Alex, Brian, Kasey, Adden, and Joshua II; his close friend, Aby; other relatives and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kellie Hovorka-Mitchell.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Sam Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Tuesday at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and Wednesday at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. Memorials to the family for his children have been suggested.

Weston had a love for God and Jesus. Romans 7, 15-25 is one of Weston’s many walks with God.
