A descendant of the Mayflower, Wayne belonged to the Mayflower Society. An avid golfer, he also enjoyed bowling, reading, history books, and researching genealogy. Most of all he devoted and cherished time spent with his family.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of fifty-two years, Marsha; his children, Robert (Wendy) Weeks of Racine, Heidi (Patrick) Nelson of Burlington, Beth (Josh) Wells of CO; his six grandchildren, Spencer, Noah, Chloe, Riley, Mayu and Misa; sister Marilyn Maass of South Milwaukee, WI; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Michael (Marge) Hintz of Antigo, Robert (Lynne) Hintz of Franklin, James (Pollyanna) Hintz of Fond du Lac, Cynthia (Ed) Reed of Waterford; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
