Virginia Mohney

Mohney, Virginia Allegan, Michigan Virginia "Ginny" Mohney, age 86 of Allegan, died December 7, 2020. She was born on October 14, 1934, in St. Paul, Minnesota, the daughter of Donald and Catherine (Keenan) Cohoon. Ginny was a marketer for McDonalds Corp and later retired as a clerk for the Allegan County Probate Court. In 1985, Ginny married Clifford Mohney. Her family includes her children: Mike (Ingrid) Anderson, Debi (Jerry) Myers, and Brian (Dawne) Anderson; her step-children: Keith (Stephanie) Mohney and Amy Mohney; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; her brother and sisters: Mary Ballentine, Thomas Cahoon, Teresa Johnson, and Antoinette Hertel; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her children's father, David Anderson, her parents, and her sisters, Donna Bylsma and Patricia Wallenberg and her brother Donald Cohoon. A private service will be held for Ginny with interment at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park, South. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice in memory of Ginny.
