Vincent Michael Arent, 78, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. He was born on January 9, 1947, the son of Wincenty Arent and Tania Arent.
Vince was a decorated combat Marine that served in the Vietnam war. He received the Purple Heart and Presidential Unit Citation and many other medals.
Vince is survived by his wife, Linda Rose-Arent; daughter, Carolann (Rodney) Brooks; sons, Ken Arent, Anthony Arent; sisters, Holly Bredikis, Theresa (Glenn) Soms; brother, Stanley (Jane) Arent. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service with full military honors will take place at the Fort Custer National Cemetery on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 11:30 am.
A luncheon will follow the burial at Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service.
