Passed away Thursday, August 30 from a motorcycle accident in Kalamazoo County. Todd was born April 30, 1968 to Rose Hartung in Jackson, Michigan. On December 31, 2013, he married his best friend, Judy (Luthringer) Pryor. Todd will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Judy, his five children, Ashley Pryor, Brendan Cochran, Amber (Justin) Marshall, David Pryor, and Austin Pryor, his five grandchildren, Olivia, Connor, Noah, Matthew and Benji, and his mother, Rose. He will also be missed dearly by his four stepchildren, their spouses, and six grandchildren. Todd joined the City of Kalamazoo in 1991 as a mechanic and was promoted to Forestry Supervisor in 2000. Todd took great pride in his work; he owned and operated Pryor's Tree Service since 1994 and served on the Arboriculture Society of Michigan's board as President Elect, on the Membership Committee, and as the ISA Certification liaison. Among the memories shared by the family are those of Todd at his happiest: spending time with his wife and friends riding their motorcycle all over the states, visiting their children and grandchildren, playing pool, engaging in late night games of euchre or cornhole, hosting bonfires, taking photographs of sunrises and sunsets, and walking in Spring Valley Park. No one laughed louder or smiled bigger, and no one could climb a tree higher than Todd. A memorial will be held on Saturday, October 13th from 12-4 p.m. at Mayor's Riverfront Park. Todd found joy in helping others and preserving nature. His family requests that others continue to do so in his name to an organization that Todd and his crew frequently volunteered at: Riverside Cemetery Veterans Memorial, Westwood Garden Club, 2610 Winchell, Kalamazoo, MI 49008. www.langelands.com
