Todd Jones went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, February 16, 2020 following complications from surgery. He was the Vice President of Services Concepts, Inc., an entrepreneur and businessman. More importantly, he was a loving son, brother and father. Out of all his great achievements he would tell you the most important one was giving his life to Christ. Todd was one of the original founders of Power of Faith Crusade now known as CLC/Stones Church. Todd Delany was born on November 22, 1956 in Kalamazoo to Fred and Barbara Jones. He was recognized as an all-around athlete, and excelled at baseball where he played in the Greater Kalamazoo All-Star Baseball Championship and was a major contributor to their victories. He also loved participating in football and basketball. Many felt his greatest achievements were in the field of race relations, which he made his true calling during his life. He would often take the opportunity to "preach" about his love of the Lord to anyone who opened the door to listen. Todd loved music - especially jazz! He also considered himself a connoisseur of fine cusine and was willing to go the distance for a great meal. Todd loved an adventure, and spent many weekends on Lake Michigan with his friends and family. Preceding him in death was his sister, Karen Louise; his mother, Barbara Jones; his grandparents, Willie and Fannie Mae Jones and Joseph and Sylvia Mitchell. Todd leaves to celebrate his life: his father, Fred (Sandra) Jones of Kalamazoo, MI; one sister, Carla (Marco) Johnson of Tucson, AZ and one brother, Christian Jones of Three Rivers, MI; two daughters, Sasha (Caroline Ecklund) Hoyle and Morgan Delaney Jones both of Kalamazoo, MI; two sons, Myles Delaney Jones and Carter Fox Jones both of Kalamazoo, MI; his former wife, Joanne Jones of Chester, VA; four grandsons, Alexander Hoyle, Stefon Hoyle-Groat and Felix Hoyle-Groat (former husband Todd Groat); and Lawson Duane Jones all of Kalamazoo, MI and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Also very special "brothers" Steve Jones and Chris Nelson; special cousins, Marcia, Mark and Michael Jones and special aunt Alice Wilson. Visitation will take place Friday, February 28, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the: Harper Funeral Home, 521 Douglas Avenue, (269) 342-1000. A Visitation will also be held 11:00 to 12 Noon Saturday, February 29, 2020 with a A Celebration of Life Service following at Stones Church, 1225 West Paterson Street in Kalamazoo, MI. Interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery, 1015 Gull Rd. in Kalamazoo. www.harperfuneral.com
