Felcyn , Theodore Paw Paw Theodore Frank Felcyn Jr., 83, of Paw Paw, passed away peacefully Wednesday July 21, 2021 at his home. He was born August 9, 1937 in Lawton, the son of Theodore Frank Felcyn Sr. and Gertrude (Drzycimski) Felcyn. On May 11, 1957 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Decatur, he married Anna Marie Oreskovich. Ted and Ann began farming in 1965 while Ted was employed at Fuller Transmission and Eaton Corporation. He enjoyed working on his farm where he raised grapes, as well as cherries, corn, soy beans and asparagus. Ted loved talking about farming and tinkering with farm equipment. He was a longtime member of the Van Buren County Farm Bureau and the National Grape Co-Op. Ted spent the winter months at his home in Trailer Estates in Bradenton, Florida. He enjoyed participating in park events, including attending dinners and dances as well as working in the woodshop. He especially enjoyed listening to the music of the Jammers every Friday afternoon. He was a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church in Paw Paw. Ted was known for his smile and kindness and was well-loved and respected by family, friends and his community. Ted is survived by his wife Ann, his two sons, Charles (Linda) Felcyn of Paw Paw and John (Marsha) Felcyn of Burr Oak, a daughter, Judith (Keith) Goodrow of Fremont Indiana; nine grandchildren, Scott Felcyn, Brad (Kaitlyn) Felcyn, Benjamin Goodrow, Brian Goodrow, Brett Goodrow, Zachary Felcyn, Aaron Felcyn, Brandi (Reggie) Clem and Erin (Austin) Long; six great-grandchildren, Larry Long III, Aalana Felcyn, Elle Clem, Alia Clem, Reid Merker and Nolan Felcyn, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ted was preceded in death by his parents, his son Stephen Felcyn, and his sister, Theresa Sarola Tomilo. Friends and family will visit on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave., Paw Paw, where a rosary service will commence at 4:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Paw Paw, with Fr. Alan Jorgensen officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church or a charity of choice.
