Terry LaCount

LaCount, Terry G. 4/14/1958 - 2/15/2023 Gobles passed away suddenly at home February 15, 2023. Terry was born April 14, 1958 in Iron Mountain, MI, the son of the late Howard and Judy Ritter and had lived in Gobles the past 46 years. He was very well known for his love of fireworks and his annual Fourth of July celebrations. He was a life-long fanatic of the Green Bay Packers and attended many games. His favorite past-times included golfing and ice fishing and laughing at all of the kids' antics. Terry retired in 2022 following 40+ years at Bel-Aire Heating & Cooling, where he developed many friendships. Surviving are his sisters: Kim Beachy and Rachelle LaCount; stepbrothers: Paul (Shirley) Ritter and Mike (Lynn) Ritter, Calvin Formolo; stepsisters: Julie Cowling and Jodi Formolo; stepchildren: Molly Rietkerk and Chancey Rietkerk; 8 stepgrandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. In August, 2002 he married the love of his life, Kathye LaCount, who preceded him in death in 2015; also a brother, Cory LaCount in 2017.
