Terry Lee Biarnesen Sr., age 78, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 24, 2016, at Ascension All Saints Hospital. He was born in Chicago, IL, December 16, 1938, son of the late Fred and Edna (Nee:Anderson) Biarnesen.

Terry served in the U.S. Army stationed in Hawaii from 1959-1961. After meeting Maureen Mayerl “the love of his life” at Lake Geneva, where both had traveled for the afternoon, Terry moved to Racine in 1970 and on June 19, 1971 at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church they were united in marriage. From this union came a son, Brad. Terry had been employed as an over the road trucker for Bankenbush Trucking and then owned and operated the Enco Service Station on Erie and 3 Mile for several years. He then drove trucks for Hribar Trucking and eventually retired as business agent for the Teamsters in 2003. Terry was a member of St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church and a member of the Teamsters. He liked to golf but loved to fish, spending many hours on their lake at the cabin up north. Most of all he treasured time spent with his family. He will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his wife, Maureen; 3 children, Terry Biarnesen of Racine, Jeri Colling of Oshkosh, Brad (Monica) Biarnesen of Milwaukee; in laws, Michael (Mary) Mayerl, Thomas Mayerl, Patrick Mayerl; nieces, nephews, grandchildren, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Alan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, December 28, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church, 1903 Green St. with Rev. Steve Varghese officiating. Private interment will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet Wednesday at the church, 9:30 A.M. until time of Mass at 11:00 A.M.. Luncheon will be offered following Mass. Memorials to St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church have been suggested.
