Terri Burkhead a long time resident of Bloomingdale Michigan, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, in Winter Haven, Florida surrounded by her family. She was 74 years old.

Terri was the beloved wife of the late James Burkhead and the cherished daughter of the late Vincent and Joan Bethel. Her life was one marked by quiet strength, deep compassion, and a profound love for her family and the natural world around her.

She is survived by her children: Jamey (Jill) Burkhead, Joel (Melissa) Burkhead, and Lori (Shane) Miller. Terri found immense joy in being a grandmother and treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren: Nathan, Katie, Sonya, Justin, Jared, Rae Daun, and Gabriel. Her presence at family gatherings brought warmth and laughter that will be deeply missed.

Terri had a lifelong passion for nature. An avid gardener and bird watcher, she found peace among flowers and feathered visitors alike. Her walks were not just exercise but moments of reflection and appreciation for the beauty around her. Animals held a special place in her heart; she cared deeply for their well-being and delighted in their companionship.

A lover of words as well as nature, Terri enjoyed reading mystery novels that sparked her imagination. She also expressed herself through poetry-writing verses that captured both the quiet joys and deeper emotions of life.

Family events were central to Terri's life. Whether it was a holiday meal, sporting event, or a simple afternoon visit with her grandchildren, she embraced these moments with open arms and an open heart. Her legacy lives on in the memories shared by those who knew her best.

May Terri's memory bring comfort to all who loved her and serve as a reminder of a life lived with grace, curiosity, and enduring love.

A memorial will be held in Michigan at a later date.
