Tara Lynn Mejeur

Age 40, passed away on March 2, 2020. Tara was born in Kalamazoo, on October 2, 1979, the daughter of Stephen James and Shelley Gay (Mejeur) Holcomb. Tara is survived by her parents; sister, Brittney (Asim) Baig; brother, Gregory Holcomb; nieces, Zehra and Nadia Baig; nephew, Azaan Baig; aunts and uncles, including a special aunt and uncle, Karen and Dennis DeVries; many cousins; a special friend, Heather Knapp. Tara was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jerry and Betty Mejeur. A service to commemorate Tara's life will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Chapel of Kalamazoo Valley, 1211 Fulford St. Kalamazoo, with Pastor Roger Ulman officiating. Friends may call on the family one hour prior to the service at the church, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Genessee Prairie Cemetery.
