Suzanne Mary Campbell, age 64, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital, Milwaukee. Suzanne was born in Racine, June 11, 1951, daughter of the late Nick and Isabelle (Nee: Draeger) Comande.

On March 9, 1974 at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church she was united in marriage to Gary Campbell. A great volunteer, Sue was actively involved in several community events including the Festival of Trees, The Prairie School Auction, Diabetes Association and Volunteers in Partnership. She was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church, Vittoria Colonna Lodge and the Racine Country Club.

She will be dearly missed by her loving husband of forty-two years, Gary Campbell, who took excellent care of her through all her medical problems; her wonderful son, Ed Campbell of Bellflower, CA. She is also survived by her brother, Nick (Lisa) Comande; sisters, Pat (Tom) Isaacson, Liz (Randy) Marvin; mother-in-law, Rosemarie Campbell; sister-in-law, Diane Campbell; brother-in-law, Kevin (Mary) Campbell of Williamsburg, VA; godchildren, Andrew (Holly) Isaacson of Eden Prairie, MN and Amanda Marvin of New Berlin; nephews and niece, Benjamin (Jenelle) Isaacson of Kenosha, Tony Marvin of Atlanta, GA and Rachel Comande of Racine; great nieces and nephews, Ella, Lily, and Kellan Isaacson of Eden Prairie, MN, Eliana, Jonas, Selah and Timothy Isaacson of Kenosha. She is further survived by wonderful relatives in both the Comande and Campbell families; and truly wonderful friends, especially Linda Townsend Christ. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Edward J. Campbell; grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, Jim and David Marino.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, February 29, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at St. Rita Catholic Church, 4339 Douglas Avenue, with Rev. Rich Young officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Sunday at the funeral home from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. (Vittoria Colonna Service at 3:30 P.M.) and Monday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until time of Mass at 11:00 A.M. Private interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Memorials to the American Diabetes Association have been suggested.

The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to all Sue's doctors over the years and a special thank you to the ICU staff at St. Francis Hospital.
