Susan Martin

Susan J. Martin, age 66, of Galesburg, MI passed away December 15, 2016, with her family by her side. She was the daughter of Michael J. Bowen and Janet L. (Maxson) Bowen. Susan was born November 3, 1950 in Ft. Custer, MI. Being the daughter of a military man she moved frequently during her youth. They lived in France, Germany, Alaska, Sault Ste Marie and Fort Knox. After graduating from Galesburg-Augusta High School in 1968, she was married to Dale Martin on February 14, 1969. They lived in Galesburg, MI, raising a daughter, Michelle Martin of Albuquerque, NM, and a son, Michael (Amelia Wolfe) Martin of Galesburg, MI. She was preceded in death by her father, step-father, Roy A. Kerbs and brothers, Michael Bowen and Patrick Bowen. She is survived by her mother, husband, children and grandsons, Nicholas and Alexander. Cremation has taken place and a remembrance of life will be held at a later date.
