Age 98, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016. Steven was born in Racine, April 12, 1918, son of the late Steve and Anna (Nee: Roser) Duzi.

Steven graduated from Washington Park High School “Class of 1936”. On May 9, 1942 at St. Joseph Catholic Church he was united in marriage to Rose L. Seitz who preceded him in death, January 23, 2005. During World War II he proudly served in the United States Army in the European Theatre as D4 Sergeant. Steven was employed with the Andis Company for twenty three years, retiring in 1983, and belonged to their 20 Year Club. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society.

He will be dearly missed by his sister, Rose Smith of Anaheim, CA; sister-in-law, Virginia Seitz of South Carolina; special nieces and nephews, Constance (John) Boticki, Cindy (Al) Noehl, both of Racine, Jan (Ken) Syman of New Berlin, Kathy (Tony) Van Reusen of Tucson, AZ; other nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret (Al) Klus; and brother, Andrew Duzi.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2201 Northwestern Avenue, Saturday, August 13, 2016, 10:30 A.M. with Rev. Ricardo Martin officiating. Interment with Full Military Honors will follow at Holy Family Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Saturday at the church from 9:00 A.M. until time of Mass at 10:30 A.M. Memorials to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or to the Virginia Adult Family Home have been suggested.
