Rivard, Sr. Anne de Paul 6/26/1938 - 5/8/2021 Kalamazoo, Michigan Barbara Ann Rivard Passed away on May 8, 2021, Barbara Ann was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 26, 1938, the daughter of Jeanette and Harvey Rivard and one of 8 children. She entered the Congregation of St. Joseph of Nazareth from St. James Parish, Ferndale on September 1, 1956. Her reception was held on July 2, 1957 at which time she took the name Sister Anne de Paul. She pronounced first vows on July 2, 1959 and final vows on July 2, 1962. Surviving are her sisters; Diane Kosla, Judith Ruskus, Dolores Honeycutt, Marilyn McIsaac and Catherine Rivard, and her brothers; Charles Rivard and Harvey Rivard; Several nieces and nephews and the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph. Service will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 10:00am on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial may be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph.
