Shirley Freeman

Passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016. Age 78. Shirley was born on October, 28, 1937 in Fisk, MO. She was employed as a ward clerk at Borgess Hospital for over twenty years. She attended Northeastern Baptist Church. She had many hobbies, which included doing crafts, reading, listening to country music and traveling. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Robert Freeman; children, Lenny J. Cox and Louie V. Cox, David (Marie) Freeman, Michael (Laura) Freeman and daughter-in-law, Marcia Freeman; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Ruby (Presson) DeSpain and Louie Sielert; one brother & one sister; and her step-son, Thomas Freeman . Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. 12 p.m. on Monday, May 2nd at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., where the funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. Pastor Nathan Pierpont will officiate with interment in Riverside Cemetery.
