Shirley DeAnda

DeANDA, Shirley Marie Of Texas Township Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Shirley was born on Wynne, AK to the late Charles and Opal Baty. Her family moved to Kalamazoo when she was 10 years old where she remained until her death. Shirley was blessed with many talents. Her greatest passion was her grandchildren and spoiling them. Shirley was greatly adored by all who knew her and her door was always open to all. Shirley leaves behind to forever cherish her memory, her husband, Pete; daughters, Diana (Charlie) Olivares, Raquel (Jay) DeAnda-Ring, Karole DeAnda, and Kris (Ted) DeAnda; her stepson, Pete (Cheri) DeAnda; her siblings, Lillian Witcher, Hazel Miller and William Baty. Shirley will be especially missed by her grandchildren, Nicholas (Beth), Nathan (Kim), Gabrielle, Madilyne, Alexandria, Austin, Lily, Sophia, and Isabella; great grandchildren, Sydney and Nicholas II. Along with a host of many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by her siblings, Ruby Patterson, Charles Baty, Jesse Baty, Dora Bolen, Helen Baty, Carol Ann Pease and Peggy Baty. As well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. In accordance with Shirley's wishes cremation has taken place. Family and friends will gather on Monday, December 27, 2010 at 2 PM at Betzler & Thompson Life Story Funeral Home, 60900 M-40, Paw Paw, MI, for a Celebration of Shirley's life. Visitation with the family will begin at 1 PM until service time. Inurnment will take place immediately following memorial service in Oak Grove Cemetery, Lawton.
