Sheri Phillips

Died Friday afternoon June 28, 2019. Sheri was born August 26, 1954 in Grand Rapids, Michigan a daughter of Neal "Bob" and Ardith (Williams) Jeltema. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1992 and attended Berean Baptist Church. Sheri was preceded in death by her parents. On April 12, 1975, she was united in marriage to Donald T. Phillips who survives. Also surviving, 2 children, Angela Vanvolkinburg of Wayland, MI and Scott (Heather) Phillips of Otsego, MI; 6 grandchildren; 3 siblings, Robert Jeltema of Nokomis, FL, Trudy Jeltema of Wayland, MI, and Twin brother, Kenneth (Barb) Jeltema of Grand Rapids, MI; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorial services will be held 11 o'clock Saturday, July 13th at Berean Baptist Church, 7813 S. 12th St. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the church. Private burial will take place at a later date. Memorials may be directed to Berean Baptist Church or Gift of Life.
