Sharon Silva

Silva, Sharon K. of Kalamazoo Sharon Kay Silva, age 77, passed away November 30, 2016 in Kalamazoo. Sharon was born September 9, 1939 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Ray and Dorothy (Butcher) Garrison. In 1976, she married Julian Silva, Jr. who preceded her in death in 2000. She was also preceded in death by her mother Dorothy; father Ray; step-mother Allene; 2 brothers Thomas and Albert; a son Rodney and a grandson Dustin. Surviving are her children Edward Hughes, Pam London, Ray McEwen, Kimberly Bennett, Maria Houser, Julian Silva III, Toni Remington, Marianna Tanney; grandchildren Thyme, Tyler, Tihnae, Daniel, Christina, Alyssa, Devon, Julian IV, Peyton, Sabin, David, Levi, Tristin, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Jessica, Chad, Cindy; several great-grandchildren; sister Sally Rodriguez; half-sisters Carla, Catherine, Debra; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:00PM on Sunday, December 4th at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00AM Monday, December 5th. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
