Randolph, Scott Bowen 7/11/1952 - 7/19/2020 Portage, Michigan Scott Bowen Randolph, Sr., age 68, of Portage, Michigan, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 19, 2020. Scott was born on July 11, 1952, in Jersey City, New Jersey, to Robert and Peg (Bowen) Randolph. After high school, Scott proudly served our country as a Marine in Vietnam aboard the USS Tripoli. After his time in the military, Scott married Gail Coffenberry, and studied the culinary arts and theology. He worked as a chef in various restaurants and church camps as well as blessing many individuals with his abilities. He also pastored two churches. Upon retirement, he volunteered for his local VFW, and despite his blindness, he learned woodworking skills and made beautiful clocks. Anyone who knew Scott, knew he was thoughtful and kind and often expressed it by sending flowers to those he cared about. He was a member of 12th Street Baptist Church. Scott is survived by three children, Scott Jr. Randolph of Roanoke, VA, Allison (Paul) Duckworth of Norristown, PA, and Steven Randolph of Stephenson, VA, and six dearly loved grandchildren, Elizabeth, Anna, Lila, David, Timothy, and Ruth. He is also survived by four siblings, Paul Randolph, Lynne Hendrickson, Diane Burley, and Mark Randolph. A memorial service will be held at 12th Street Baptist Church, 3911 S 12th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009 on August 5 at 9:00 AM. A private memorial will be held in Rochester, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the 12th Street Baptist Church.
