Sally I. Grizzel

Sally Irene Grizzel, age 86, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Ascension All Saints Hospital. She was born in Racine, July 29, 1937, daughter of the late Walter and Gladys (Nee: Peck) Pirk.

On April 15, 1967, at Trinity Lutheran Church, she was united in marriage to the love of her life Truman Grizzel. In her early years Sally enjoyed bowling and more recently Bingo and bus trips to the Casino. She was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and will be remembered for always sending out cards on birthdays, holidays and special occasions. Above all Sally treasured the time spent with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Truman; 3 children, Jeffrey (Sheri) Grizzel, Gregory (Melissa) Grizzel, Brian (Katrina) Grizzel; 8 grandchildren, Kristina Grizzel, James Grizzel, Tonya (Ben) Thompson, Christina (Jeff) Brown, Jordan (Tiffany) Grizzel, Faith Grizzel, Justine Grizzel, Jessica Grizzel; 8 great grandchildren, Jackson, Benson, Thoryn, Wrennyn, Zoe, Laniyah, Grayson, and Sophia; sister, Nancy (William) Kroll; in-laws, Franklin Grizzel, RC Grizzel, Judy Pirk; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Walter I. (Imogene) Pirk and Richard P. Pirk.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, May 8, 2024, 11 am. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet at the funeral home Tuesday 5-7 pm and Wednesday 10 am until time of service at 11 am.
