Sally Hathaway

Sally Ann Hathaway, age 92, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away October 16, 2016 in Portage. She was born August 18, 1924 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of William and Florence (Munn) Mosgrove. Sally was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church of Kalamazoo. She was a member of the Kalamazoo Republican Party; and the Daughters of the American Revolution for over 60 years. Sally enjoyed traveling, golfing and sailing; but the most important part of her life was her many friends and family. On August 18, 1941, she was united in marriage to Richard W. Hathaway who preceded her in death on October 16, 1981. She was also preceded by her two children, David Hathaway and Ann Dinzik. Surviving are her grandchildren Holly (Loren) Tarner, Matt (Dottie) Dinzik, Margaret Hathaway, David (Heather) Hathaway, Marc (Kathy) Dinzik; and eleven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30PM on Thursday, October 20th at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., where a funeral service will begin at 1:30PM Thursday. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials in Sally's memory may be directed to Hospice Care of SW Michigan.
