Ruth Riemer

Riemer, Ruth 11/16/1945 - 3/24/2022 Kalamazoo Ruth Eleanor Riemer (Wittenburg), resident of Kalamazoo, MI, lost her battle to cancer while surrounded by loved ones Friday, March 25th, 2022 at age 76. Born to Myrtle Olson and George Wittenburg of Cook County, IL, Ruth E. Riemer was born on November 16th, 1945. She attained her cosmetology license at Chic in Kalamazoo, and serviced the community for decades. She loved gardening and spending time with girlfriends: Mitch, Susan, Cindy and Danielle. Preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle Olson (1917-2001) and George William Wittenburg (1916-1972), as well as her brother, George Karl Wittenburg (1948-2014). Lastly, her son, Adam William Riemer, (1971-2017). She is honored in life by her son, John George Riemer, grandchildren, Emily Munson, Brian Cooley, RuthAnn Hunter (Riemer), Amanda Riemer, and great grandchildren, Amelia and Kelix. Memorial Services will be determined at a later date.
