Ruth M. Staudinger

Ruth M. Staudinger, age 93, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. Ruth was born in Melvina, WI, October 6, 1922, one of eleven children of Casper and Mary (Nee: Willger) Flock.

Ruth came to Racine in 1942. In 1943 she became a machinist and was employed at Nelson Brothers & Strom Company during World War II. She was also employed as a nurses aide at Wheaton Franciscan for twenty years. On July 2, 1947 at St. Peter and Paul Church in Gilman, WI she was united in marriage to Stephen W. Staudinger who preceded her in death, October 28, 1988. She was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and most recently at St. Richard Catholic Church.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Margaret Staudinger (Hugh) Swofford of Milwaukee, Elizabeth Staudinger Annis of Racine; brother, Robert Flock of Iron River, WI; sister, Caroline Sydlo of Union Grove; two granddaughters, Amanda and Stephanie; great-grandson, Hudson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathleen in 1998; 4 sisters; and 4 brothers.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 4, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Monday at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M.
