Ruth Berry

Ruth M. Berry, age 80, of Richland died Monday evening, October 4, 2021 at the Rose Arbor Hospice Residence in Kalamazoo. She was born in Bloomington, Illinois on August 2, 1941, the daughter of Arthur and Lillian (Jett) Barling. She was a resident of this area since 1972 and worked for more than 30 years in the commercial construction industry, retiring in 2007. Ruth is survived by her husband, Jack Berry of Richland; a son, William (Kimberly) Sellers; grandsons, Samuel (Grace), Patrick (Arianna), Benjamin (Adriana) Sellers; and great-granddaughter, Sophia Sellers, all of Lakeside, California. She is also survived by her sisters, Barbara Williamson of Bloomington, Illinois, and Susan Hamilton of Prescott Valley, Arizona; 14 nieces & nephews; a sister-in-law, Vicki Berry; and close friends for many years, Pat & Dave Moran. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, George Barling and Harold Barling; and sisters, Elizabeth Butts and Marilyn DeVary. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at the Rose Arbor Hospice Residence for the wonderful care they provided Ruth in her final days.
