Russell Cavanaugh Jr.

Cavanaugh, Russell, J. Jr. Portage, MI Russell Joseph Cavanaugh, Jr. passed away at his home Saturday, January 1, 2022. He was born in Kalamazoo, MI a son of the late Russell and Grace (Martin) Cavanaugh, Sr. On February 22, 1952, Russell married the former Janet Copeland who preceded him in death on October 22, 2019. He was also preceded in death by four siblings. He is survived his children, Michael (Sally) Cavanaugh, Linda (Michael) Landry, and Kim (Jeff) Williams; grandchildren, Brandon Cavanaugh, Aaron Cavanaugh, and Angela (Phil) Wittaker; great-grandchildren Chloe Wittaker and Sophie Wittaker; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 11a.m-12 noon Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 411 E Centre Ave, Portage, MI 49002. Graveside services will follow in Portage South Cemetery at 12:15 p.m. A memorial service is being planned for later.
