Rosalyn June DeRosie, age 91, passed away Monday, February 08, 2016 at Three Pillars Masonic Center in Dousman, WI. Rosalyn was born in Racine, December 24, 1924, daughter of the late Kasper and Drusilla (Nee: Bishop) Salbashian. Her family moved to the Michigan Upper Peninsula in 1928. After graduating from high school, she worked at the telephone company in Detroit, where she met the love of her life.

On November 9, 1946 she was united in marriage to Thomas A. DeRosie. While in Racine she was employed at Kortendick Hardware and Servomation. Rose was a longtime member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church. A people person, Rose loved to bowl, golf, ski, and travel. Rose and Tom loved to travel together and camp in the Shasta trailer. She also enjoyed sewing and baking in her spare time. Most of all she cherished time spent with her family.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Patricia (Rowland) Morrison, Pamela (Lloyd) Jensen; her granddaughters, Alexis and Eastlyn; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother, Casper (Dorothy) Salbashian; and sisters, Lucille (Richard) Langowski and Mickey (Edward) Wosilait.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 12, 2016, 5:00 P.M. at Holy Communion Lutheran Church, 2000 West 6th Street, with Rev. Laura Fladten officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the church from 4:30 P.M. until time of service at 5:00 P.M. Private interment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Edward Wosilait and Edward Wosilait, Jr. for all the love and assistance they gave Rose while she was living in Racine.
