Ronald Hudson Jr.

Ron L. Hudson, Jr., age 53, of Burlington, MI passed away Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 24, 2017 at his home, following a short battle with cancer. He was born on July 8, 1963 in Vicksburg, MI, the son of Ronald and Bonnie (Hoogakker) Hudson. On July 29, 2006, he was united in marriage to Pamela Cole, who survives. Also surviving are his mother and step-father: Bonnie and Jim Nelson; four step-sisters: Julie (David) Guthrie, Laura (Tony) Fowler, Karen (John) Fulbright and Rebecca Nelson; and a large extended family. Preceding him in death were his grandfather: Claude Hoogakker; father: Ron Hudson Sr.; and aunt: Claudia 'Dutch' Hill. Friends may visit with Ron's family from 11am-1pm on Tuesday, Jan. 31, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Climax Chapel, 205 E. Maple Street, where a funeral service to celebrate Ron's life will begin at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Lakeside Cemetery, Colon. Memorial contributions may be directed to West Michigan Cancer Center or to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
