Ronald Ernest Holzgen, 58, born June 16, 1958, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November, 4, 2016.

A loving husband; Ron enjoyed spending his days on horse back with Margie, his best friend, partner, and wife of 14 years.

A loving father; Ron was very proud of all of his children, who respected him greatly and loved him dearly.

A loving grandfather; Ron adored and was adored by his grandchildren, who cherished every moment spent on Grandpa’s farm, whether on his lap or in his saddle.

A loving brother; Ron was the baby brother looked up to and spoiled by all of his sisters.

A loving son; Ron was the son who made his mother’s heart filled with pride and earned his father’s everlasting gratitude for the love and care he showed to his mother and sisters.

A true professional; Ron was a dedicated and loyal Teamster of 40 years, highly regarded by his colleagues.

Many called him their “best friend.”

A Teamster by day; a cowboy after 5:00. A leader, admired and respected.

He is survived by his wife, Margie Holzgen, his children: Mike Iwaniw, Arden Holzgen II, Katie Waldmiller, Jordan Holzgen, Amelia Ackerman, Cole Ackerman,Tony Ackerman, his sisters: Elaine Woodcox and Colleen Woodcox, and his 7 (soon to be 8) grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Madelon and Arden Holzgen, his sister: Yvonne Rondeau and his brother: Kenneth Holzgen.

A memorial service for Ron will be held on Thursday, Nov 10, 2016, 1:00 pm at:
