Ronald Dekker, age 73, of Holland, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at his home.
He was preceded in death by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Roger Beverwyk, Stan Schreur, Jerry Brink, Alvin and Marian Schreur and Mary Schreur.
Ron was a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church. He was employed at Repco-Lite Paints for 33 years and Fris Office Outfitters for 10 years. He served his country in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; children, Sue and Dave Busscher of Holland, Nancy and Jeff Snay of Holland, Jim and Aimee Dekker of Hamilton; eight grandchildren, Stephen, Michelle and Joshua Busscher, Aaron, Adam and Abigail Snay, Bradley and Nicole Dekker; sisters, Carol Beverwyk of Holland, Judy and Hardy Timmer of Zeeland; sisters and brother-in-law, Gladys Brink of Saugatuck, Roger and Phyllis Schreur of Hudsonville, Fern Schreur of Hudsonville.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Ebenezer Reformed Church with Reverend Todd Krygsheld officiating. Visiting hours will be Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State St., Zeeland. Burial will be in Overisel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland
