Died Monday afternoon May 18, 2020. Rolland was born October 12, 1933 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Robert and Glenna (Warner) Hoare. Years ago, he served honorably with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident where he graduated from State High. He was employed with National Water Lift (Parker Aerospace) for over 44 years before retiring. He served many years as Vice President and Bargaining Committee member for UAW Local 1666 at National Water Lift. Rollie also attended Northeastern Baptist Church. Throughout Rollie's life he enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, golfing, bowling, wood working, gardening, traveling, and his family & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant sister. On September 10, 1954, he was united in marriage to Beverly J. (Schrier) Hoare who survives. Also surviving, 3 children, Cheryl Garrison of Holland, MI, Robert (Terri) Hoare of Mattawan, and Thomas (Tammy) Hoare of Aurora, CO; 5 grandchildren, Courtney (Garrison) Millward , Elizabeth Hoare, Brittany Hoare, Adam Hoare, and Patrick Kiggans; 5 great-grandchildren; a sister, Wanda Hite of Vancouver, WA; and several nephews. Private graveside services were held in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
