Robert Stahl

Robert J. Stahl, age 70, unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at his home in Spring Hill, Tennessee. Robert was a longtime resident of Gobles, MI where he raised his family. Robert J. Stahl was born on November 19, 1951 in Clare, Michigan to Clare and Madeline C. (Lawler) Stahl. Robert "Bob" grew up attending Catholic school until he reached high school where he graduated from Gobles High School in 1969. After graduation, Bob started his career with General Motors where he worked for 35 years. He continued his automotive journey from GM in Kalamazoo, MI to Saturn in Spring Hill, TN, along with the Corvette plant in Bowling Green, KY. In his retirement he used his automotive knowledge and turned it into the art of selling cars on a part-time basis to keep him busy. Bob loved spending time with his family and friends. He found joy in rooting for the Tennessee Titans and in his younger years he enjoyed supporting his children in sports, coaching Rocket Football, working on cars, hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. Robert is preceded in death by his father, Clare Stahl and mother, Madeline C. (Lawler) Stahl. Robert was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his son, Shawn M. (Kishelle) Stahl of Allegan, MI, daughter, Melissa M. (Eric) Minnard of Grandville, MI. He was a proud grandfather of two granddaughters Lauren E. (Justin) Slagter, Ashtyn K. (David) Creswell and one grandson Mason M. Stahl. He was also a great grandfather to two beautiful girls, Adeline and Audrey. He is also survived by two sisters, Darlene Stahl and Debra Morales of Louisiana. He took pride in his family and loved them very much.
