Obituary
Robert "Bob" Johnson, age 64, of Richland, MI passed away suddenly, Sunday morning, August 28, 2016 in Ohio. Bob was born July 3, 1952 in Kalamazoo the son of Lambert and Cora (Staal) Johnson. Bob was a pipefitter and worked with B.L. Harroun and Pro Services where his co-workers knew him as "Jaws" prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Local 669, the National Street Rod Assoc., and the Good Guys Rod and Custom Assoc. He enjoyed building and driving his Hot Rod, woodworking, traveling with his motorhome, and spending time with his family and his beloved dog, Lacy. On June 16, 1973 he was united in marriage to his loving wife of 43 years, the former Christine Tuttle who survives. Also surviving are his children, Kimberly (Steven) Denzel, Robert A. Jr. (Amy) Johnson; 4 grandchildren, Steven, Zachary, Joshua, and Nicholas. Bob was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Waber. A memorial gathering will be held Wednesday evening, September 7 from 5-8pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick. Private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
