Robert “Bob” G. Riegelman, age 82, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015. Robert was born in Racine, September 28, 1933, son of the late William A. and Margaret M. (Nee: Stoffel) Riegelman.

Bob was a graduate of Lutheran High, Valparaiso University and University of Wisconsin, Madison-Law School. He practiced law for 57 years in the Racine area along with his son, Rob at Riegelman & Mueckler, SC. On August 7, 1965 he was united in marriage to Kathleen M Riley at Holy Trinity Catholic Church and celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past August. Bob was a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. He was a board member of Lincoln Lutheran Home serving for 26 years. He was also on the board of Bethesda Lutheran Home in Watertown for many years. He was a member of the Wisconsin and Racine County Bar Associations. Bob was an avid golfer and a member of Meadowbrook Country Club. He cherished time with his family, especially up-north at their cottage in Manitowish Waters.

He will dearly missed by his loving wife, Kathy; his daughter, Susan (Michael) Wendling, and their sons, Matthew R. and Benjamin K. Wendling; his son Robert J. (Kathy Nickel) Riegelman and their sons, Timothy R. and Samuel R. Riegelman; brothers, William H. (Mitzi) Riegelman, Donald S. Riegelman and his wife Kathryn Rouse; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Frank L. and Mary Riley; and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Michleen and Edward Knesting.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 10, 2015, 11:00 A.M. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1501 Erie Street with Rev. Jack Gilbert officiating. Entombment will be held at Holy Cross Garden Mausoleum, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Thursday at the church from 9:30 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. Memorials to St. John’s Lutheran Church, HALO, Inc., or to Health Care Network have been suggested.

Bob’s family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at Ridgewood Care Center for their loving and compassionate care.
