Robert (Bob) Freeman of Bradenton, Florida passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Art Center Manatee, Bradenton, Florida. Among many other things, Bob was a master wood worker, sculptor of bowls, builder of bird houses, maker of pickle forks, seller of army surplus air mattresses, avid pilot, creator of the Braile Hail, builder of bunk beds, pontoon boats, diving rafts and tree houses, avid hunter and fisherman, founding member of "take a flying leap" investment club, accomplished gin rummy player, golfer, panner of gold, sender of wooly worms, dumpster diver, maker of bubble wands, teller of jokes, and devoted friend. Above all else, he loved his family: Martha Jean, the love of his life and wife of 49 years; Sue and Bill, his daughter and son-in-law; Mark, his son; Lucy, his daughter; his four grand-children and four great grand-children. So Dad, for one last time: "See you round the grounds" We love you.
