Richard Voss

Voss, Richard "Rick" G. Richard "Rick" G. Voss, age 64, passed away on November 9, 2021. He was born June 17, 1957 in Kalamazoo to the late Donald and Jane (Crampton) Voss. Rick graduated from Hackett Catholic Prep and immediately entered the workforce with Lumbermen's. He eventually retired from his position as a sales representative at Monsma Marketing in February 2020. Rick was incredibly proud of his kids and his passion in life became his grandkids. He had many prized outdoor toys-four wheelers, dirt bikes, a dune buggy, and a Jeep. Rick was also a fan of camping and fishing, and especially loved his time with his buddies at Silver Lake. Rick was preceded in death by his parents. Rick was united in marriage to Dyrinda (nee Gregg) Voss on August 10, 1985, who survives. He is also survived by his son, Michael (Emily) Voss; daughter, Michelle Voss; grandchildren Aiden and Grayson Voss; siblings, MarySue (Dan) Lamble, Pat (John) Gomolak, Dave (Kay) Voss, and Laurie (Ron) Sarver; many nieces and nephews; parents-in-law, Harry and Juanita Gregg; and sisters-in-law, Debbie (George) Goodsell, Trish (Jamie) Madison, and Judy Smith. A prayer service will be held Monday, November 15, 2021 at 1:30pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009 with Father Ben Huynh. A memorial gathering will follow from 2-5:00pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society.
