Richard Liskovec

Liskovec, Richard Liskovec, Richard "Dick" of Kalamazoo, Michigan, joined his loving Savior, at the age of 87, on February 21, 2023. Proud of his ancestry, he often spoke of his father, Frank, from Czechoslovakia, and his mother, Anna (Tomandl), from Austria. Dick loved and enjoyed spending time with his children and their families. Many charities were blessed by his giving. He had numerous hobbies dealing with fishing, collecting, electrical and mechanical repairs, inventing, gardening, cooking, and reading, especially his Bible. Dick had long been retired from 35 years of working as an aerospace engineer at National Water Lift Company in Kalamazoo. He had also served as an Airman Second Class in the United States Air Force. Dick is survived and missed by his brother, Ed, his children, Lynda Sharpe, Kim Polmanteer, Rick Liskovec, their spouses, and his many grand and great grandchildren. A private memorial will be held later, as he has donated his body to the WMU School of Medicine to further the understanding of heart disease.
