Richard Ballinger

Ballinger, Richard E. Kalamazoo, MI Richard Edward Ballinger died Thursday, March 31, 2022, at his home. He was born August 30, 1937, in Schoolcraft, MI son of the late Edward W. and Gail (Pursel) Ballinger and had been a lifelong area resident. On August 16, 1957, Richard married the former Barbara Ann Boguta who survives. Also surviving are his son, Steven Edward (Michelle) Ballinger; siblings, Gerald William (JoAnn) Ballinger, Marcia (Louie) Sackett, and Paul Delbert (Lora) Ballinger, sister-in-law, Janet Lossee', grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 1:00 Tuesday afternoon, April 5, 2022, at Kalamazoo First Assembly of God, 5550 Oakland Drive, where funeral services will begin at 2:00. Graveside service will follow in Schoolcraft Cemetery at 3:30. In lieu of flowers please consider a gift in Richard's memory to The Michael J.
