Rev. John Morren went Home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 25, 2008 at the age of 84. He married Hermina (Buni) Zuiderveen in 1945. John was a B-17 pilot in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He graduated from Calvin College and Seminary in Grand Rapids, MI in 1953. During his 55 years of faithful ministry in the Christian Reformed Church (CRC) he served at Conrad, MT; Ripon, CA; Brisbane, Australia; Oak Park, IL; Grand Haven, MI; Wyoming, MI; Lake City, MI; and Jenison, MI. He continued to be active in ministry until his death. John was married to Carolyn Krannitz in 1980. John was preceded in death by his first wife, Hermina; son-in-law, Jack Bruinsma; sister, Winifred (Peter) Vanderveen; step-grandson, Aaron Willea. John will be greatly missed by his wife, Carolyn; children, Judy Bruinsma, Russ Morren, Phil (Sandra) Morren, Kathy (Bill) Poel, Jim (Ann) Morren, Mary (Bruce) Sterenberg; step-children, James (Pam) Krannitz, Bryan (Heidi) Krannitz, Todd (Maria) Krannitz, Dawn (Rob) Arnoys; grandchildren, Sheri (Bill) LeFebre, Jennifer Bruinsma, Kevin (Jamie) Bruinsma, Shawn (Kathy) Morren, Jessica (Jeff) Mehring, Hannah Morren, Alea (Ashley) Niami, Micah Morren, Kelsey Morren, Emily Poel, Ross Poel, Alyssa, Matt and Andrea Morren, Derek, Alicia and Chad Sterenberg, Spencer Krannitz, Brittany and Morgan Krannitz, Emilee Krannitz, Travis and Jake Arnoys, step-grandson, Craig Willea; great-grandchildren, Lauren LeFebre, Waylon and Marlowe Morren, Ayla Mehring; sisters, Harriet (Don) Kraker, Sadie (Ron) Nederveld. Funeral Services will be held Thursday 11 a.m. at Immanuel CRC, 3520 Kiel, Hudsonville, with Rev. Robert Huisman and Rev. William Huyser officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation: Tuesday 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Mathysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr., Grandville. Memorial contributions may be made to the CRWRC, CRC Home Missions or CRC World Missions. Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf
