Reinhard “Bud” W. Winterle, age 83, passed through Heavens Gate Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Oak Ridge Care Center, Union Grove. Bud was born in Racine, November 9, 1931, son of the late Reinhard and Meta (Nee: Schlei) Winterle and was a lifelong Racine resident.

On February 19, 1955 at St. Joseph Catholic Church he was united in marriage to Marlene A. Madero who preceded him in death, December 22, 1996. Bud was employed by Jacobson Textron for forty-five years, retiring in 1997. He also enjoyed working part time at Paradise West from 1976-2005. He was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He enjoyed bowling, dart ball and fishing. More than anything he cherished time with his family.

He will be dearly missed by his children, Katherine Wampole (Daniel Lesperance), Kevin Winterle (Andrea McIntosh), Keith Winterle; “adopted son”, Mark Eppers (Dawn Leanna); 6 grandchildren, Joshua (Amy) Wampole, Jarod (Brittany) Wampole, Jessica (Sherman Dippel) Rogan Strini, Jeremiah Winterle, Olivia McIntosh, Emily McIntosh; great-grandchild, Easton Wampole; brothers and sisters, Richard Winterle, Don (Ann) Winterle, Robert (Birgit) Winterle, Larry Winterle, Harold (Carol) Winterle, Margaret (Jerry) Merrill, Walter (Betty) Winterle; nieces, nephews, other relatives, many fishing buddies and other dear friends. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his sisters-in-law, Clariss Winterle and Cathy Winterle.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 1, 2015, 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Steve Varghese officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Thursday at the funeral home from 9:30 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M.

The family extends their sincere gratitude to the entire Oak Ridge staff for their respect and love shown towards Bud and to Mark for his friendship and countless hours he spent with Bud.
