Raymond R. Juday

Juday, Raymond R. Kalamazoo Ray passed away on October 25th, 2022, peacefully at his home in Comstock, MI at the age of 95. Ray was born February 10th, 1927, in Kalamazoo, MI. Ray is the son of Clifford and Florence Juday of Comstock, MI. He attended Comstock schools and graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in aviation. Just after his 18th birthday, Ray joined the United States Navy at the tail end of WWII. On December 5th, 1953, Ray and Vera Grimes were joined in marriage. Ray worked as a service manager for Gibson Guitar, at Georgia Pacific, and then independently sold Insurance. Ray was a great carpenter; he built several houses and apartments throughout the years. God blessed them with 4 children, Sarah, Mary, David, and Nancy. Together, Ray and Vera have 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Ray was proceeded in death by his daughter Sarah, his brother Robert, and his parents Clifford and Florence Juday. Ray was a longtime member of the East Main Church of Christ, joining in 1956. Ray and Vera enjoyed many winters at their home in Florida, where Ray enjoyed playing golf. At Ray's request the family held a private graveside service in Comstock Cemetery.
