Raven Ay-Shawnti Morrison, age 18, of Pullman, MI passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017. She was born May 15, 1999 to Randy and Dianne (Anderson) Morrison in South Haven. Raven graduated from Bloomingdale High School in the Class of 2017. She played trumpet in the high school band and served as drum major during her senior year. Raven also enjoyed photography. Raven worked as a cashier at Dollar General in Pullman and at the Fenn Valley Winery. Raven was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Pullman where she served as a church usher. She is preceded in death by her father Randy Dean Morrison, sister Keianna Anderson, grandparents-Simadie and Johnnie C. Anderson Sr., great grandparents-Sarah and Jesse Morrison, great grandfather-Rev. William Bronson, Sr. Raven leaves to cherish her memories: her mother Dianne Morrison of Pullman, sisters Annetta Walford of Grand Rapids and Keidria Anderson of Holland, nieces and nephews Jayden, Aryanna, Aura, and Amarie, grandmother-Pearl Morrison, great grandmother-Roseanna Bronson, godparents-Hope and Pat Curley, god brothers-PJ and Brett Curley, special friends: Nayeli Sanchez, Lily Case and Sam Pascual, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Wake will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Lee Township. Funeral services will follow wake at 12:00 PM with Pastor Charles Knox officiating at the church. Raven will be laid to rest next to her father at Lee Township Cemetery.
