Quella Lockett

Mrs. Quella Lockett passed away peacefully at home in her sleep. She was born in Mississippi to Caleb and Patsy Fields and moved to Kalamazoo, where she met Tommie Lockett. They married on Christmas Eve, 1956. The couple founded the Faith Temple Church of God, where they have served for nearly 55 years. Mrs. Lockett was the last survivor of 5 siblings: Caleb, James and William Fields, Ruby Burnett and Pearline Poplar-McCoy. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Bishop Tommie Lockett and their 11 children and their spouses, Robyn (Howard) Robinson; Cynthia (Daniel) Butler; Donna Lockett-(Cole) Purnell; Wanda (Kelvin) Thomas; Tommie (Sharon) Lockett; Rodney Lockett; Tammy Lockett-(John W.) Johnson; Twala Lockett-(Kenneth) Jones; Troy (Shannon) Lockett; Todd (Melinda) Lockett and Terrell (Tiffany) Lockett, a host of family and friends and her Faith Temple Church family.
