Priscilla A. Olsen

Priscilla A. Olsen, 64, of Battle Creek, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2011 at Battle Creek Health System. She was born on February 10, 1947, in Battle Creek, the daughter of Roy and Wanda L. (Dempsey) Bates. Priscilla lived to love and cherish her family and friends. She always enjoyed gathering with her friends and neighbors. Priscilla was a car enthusiast and enjoyed putting on car shows. She was a volunteer and fundraiser for the "Make-A-Wish" Foundation. Pricilla was a member of the Cereal City Cruisers and enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening. She was a fan of WWE wrestling. She will be missed by her cat, Romeo. Priscilla is survived by her mother, Wanda McComb, and her children, Randy (Kandy) Olsen, Gary Olsen and Tammy (Cedric) Olsen. Priscilla is also survived by her three grandchildren, Russell (Brittany) Young, and Anthony and Jasmine Olsen, and her great-grandchild, Malaysia Young. Priscilla also leaves her two step-brothers, Denny McComb and Ron McComb Jr., step-sister, Carol Conant, and several nieces, nephews and adopted children. She was preceded in death by her father, Dad, son and aunt. Pricilla was previously employed by Spanky's Tavern for 11 years and by the Main Street Market. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Royal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Royal Funeral Home with Pastor Travis Davis officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
