Age 86 passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021, in Kalamazoo. She was born in Sharon, PA on December 3, 1934, to the late Clark H. and Evelyn M. (Graham) Weinberg. Phyllis was united in marriage to Donald F. Cochran in Vicksburg on December 3, 1955, and together they shared 59 years of marriage until his death in 2014. Phyllis worked for Sears for 28 years as an assistant receiving manager. She was an avid Detroit sports fan, enjoyed camping, knitting, watching and feeding the birds and squirrels, and especially enjoyed being with her family which was the most important thing to her. Phyllis is survived by her 3 children: Cathy (Jeff) Johnson, Donald Cochran Jr., and Lissa (Mark) Daniels. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and one brother: William (Sue) Weinberg. Private family services will take place at a later date.
